About
Who I am: Hi! I’m Brie Pampell. I’m the Marketing Manager at Texas A&M’s Department of Student Activities in College Station, Texas.
How I think: I'm a curious person, I fail a lot, and I love to learn.
[Side note: the size of my audible library is bordering on pathological.]
How I work: Observation, creativity, systems thinking, design thinking, iteration, and learning from failure. Oh, and I really like to move around and ideate BIG
What I do: Currently I’m focusing on scaling creative capabilities and assets, capturing and analyzing data and insights, and developing my facilitation, training, and co-creation skills to help bridge design and business within the org.
What I’ve done: I've been in the marketing and communications world (mostly higher ed) for about 13 years now. During this time, I've lead teams for numerous multimedia campaigns, initiatives, and promotions. I've managed advertising campaigns with budgets close to $2million, produced videos, tradeshow experiences, billboards, radio ads, large, small - you name it!
My favorite part: My favorite part of creative work is making unexpected connections between people, ideas, resources, and data. I have even been known to incorporate my many external creative pursuits into everyday work from 3D printing, 3D modeling, sculpting, illustration, and even puppet making!
